I have two degrees in Music Performance and over 16 years of learning music through private instruction and college classes. Not only do I have the practical skills of playing instruments at a high level, but I also am knowledgeable in music history, music theory, and several styles of music.

You will find that my prices are right on par with other private instructors in the Lincoln area. I offer discounted rates for longer weekly lessons, which is not always offered.

I have performed countless times between recitals, school concerts, church solos, and professional performances. I still actively perform today, so I have a current and refined sense of what it is really like to play in front of others.

My goal is to find a lesson time that will best serve both of us. I also try my best to reschedule lessons that must be missed because of being out of town or other occasional events. I teach in multiple locations as well, so we can definitely find what works best for you.

I have taught private lessons for over ten years, and have successfully guided students through personal and musical growth. I have effectively taught students of all ages and ability levels, with customized curriculum for each individual student.

It can be all too easy for musicians young and old to become negative or discouraged about their skills and abilities. I strive to bring focus to not only what can be improved, but also to what has been done well, and I help my students to learn to do the same.
